And what types of email and IM does it support?
On the new Sony Mylo 2, can you IM, email, and surf the web from anywhere, or just WiFi hotspots?
The Sony Mylo 2 doesn't have a cellular radio so you're relegated to finding hotspots for your internet access. Sorry.

obviously you need a datetime column in your mail table .. and you will need to have a separate process (cron job, etc) that polls the database (like once every minute) that queries your table and looks if there is any mail to be send.

I am doing a web site for a friend, Is there a way people can click on her e mail and an email box will open?
like outlook express or their own. It is similar to MY Space codes. Any one have an idea. They have a message thing but would like it to go to her regular e mail.

To open email you would need a password. It has to be secure.

What are the privacy issues surrounding the use of web- based email?
I prefer to use web based email. It is always available on any computer. And you don't have to worry about viruses as much because the information is on the email server's hard drive, not yours. I feel that it gives me a little more security.
What are the privacy issues surrounding the use of web- based email?
One potential problem is the use of web-based email services on shared computers.
My main concern would be that if you don't log out correctly, or close the browser window, the next person to use that machine will still be logged into your email account.
Say for example you used Hotmail, but didn't log out properly then left the machine. Another user goes to Hotmail.com and they'll be in your inbox, not theirs. This could be completely innocent, but they may decide to read your personal data.

Why does my browser fall into some endless loop and lock up when logging into Yahoo's new Web 2.0 Email?
I never had problems with Yahoo's new Web 2.0 Email Beta. But today, when I tried to login, I get to the "Loading Yahoo! Mail" statement in the center of the browser window, and then it seems to be stuck in some endless loop, as my browser almost immediately becomes unresponsive, and I have to close the program through the Task Manager. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know how to fix it?
Why does my browser fall into some endless loop and lock up when logging into Yahoo's new Web 2.0 Email?
Well as it is still in the "Beta" phase it just means that it would eventually be prone to bugs and the like... It may be an incompatibilty issue with your browser... have u updated your browser recently? maybe the update may have caused it... I noticed that it works in Mozilaa firefox and Internet Explorer, but if I use Opera or Avant Browser then I come up with some issues regarding it...

When you type a web-site in a email how do you draw a line under it so all they do is click on it?
so that when you click on it will will go to the web-site.
When you type a web-site in a email how do you draw a line under it so all they do is click on it?
if you type a website in an email it should underline it all by itself. If it doesn't check your spelling.
Reply:You have to type in the entire path, ie.
http://www.xyz.com
Then, it ought to do it.
Reply:If u type the full address it automaticaly link it to this site.
U can also give a link by clicking the link option in toolbar of ur composing window.
Reply:do this...
http://YOURWEBSITEHERE.COM then press space and it should link it.
Reply:No. Hyperlinks are automatically changed to blue text when you type it in. just leave a space before and after the wwww.xxxxxxxxx.com address. You don't need to put in the http//: either.
Reply:That is called a hyperlink, some e-mail programs allow it, not all do. Yahoo mail for example has put a link button at the top where you can put a link into email. Looks like a world icon with a chain at the bottom. Then you can name the link instead of just giving the link which some may not want to click figuring their not interested.
Such as a link to a video..
Interesting video (click here)
which is more descriptive then the link is itself.
Have fun and good luck.
